Clare McEwan is a Cambridge-based visual artist specialising in contemporary animal paintings. Her work explores the deep emotions and connections shared between humans and their furry or feathered companions. With a background in graphic design and illustration, Clare now devotes her creative practice to painting in acrylic and oil, layering colour, text, and pattern to bring her distinctive, characterful subjects to life. Her main aim is to make people smile.
