George Hider is a self-educated artist working for the last 26 years from his South Somerset workshop. A pioneer for the use of scrap metal in art, his ability to create lifelike sculptures has evolved from dedication and a natural talent. His motivation is his passion to create distinctive, desirable forms from discarded steel.
